All-or-nothing diets fail. You can enjoy food and still make weight. On the BJJ Babes Podcast we talked about how simple planning beats the binge cycle.

Plan the fun foods

Put treats in your week on purpose. When you plan them, you control portions. When you “save” calories then binge, you lose control. Keep protein steady. Add fruit or veg often. Place a carb you enjoy around training.

Cut smart, not fast

Lose slowly so you hold strength. Keep protein high and fuel the hardest sessions with carbs. If you cut too fast, sleep drops, mood dips, and your rolls feel flat. The scale matters, but look at 7–14 day trends, not one weigh-in.

Social events in camp

Eat before you go. Pick lean protein and a simple side. Sip water between drinks. Get back on plan the next morning. One meal won’t make or break you; the pattern will.
